Slow warm drink

Settles your body with warmth. One slow glass.
Use this when
When you feel tense or wound up and want something gentle.
After this
Most people notice a subtle relaxation in the shoulders and chest. The warmth has a quiet, cumulative effect that builds as you drink.
You will need
A glass of warm water. Hot enough to feel soothing, not hot enough to burn.
The why
Warm liquid stimulates thermoreceptors in the mouth and throat that signal safety to the nervous system, supporting parasympathetic engagement. Slow drinking also naturally regulates breathing rate as a secondary effect. The physiological pathway is established; direct RCT evidence for this specific accessible form is less strong than our other Calm habits.
