Steam Breathing

Slows your breathing. Drops your shoulders.
Use this when
Stressed, anxious, or overstimulated. Or when you woke up already rushing.
After this
Most people notice their breathing has slowed and their shoulders have dropped. The room feels quieter.
You will need
A mug or bowl of hot water.
The why
Slow breathing helps activate the vagus nerve, reducing heart rate and cortisol within 2 minutes. Steam humidity also opens the airways.
